What size should an OG image be?
1200×630 pixels (a 1.91:1 ratio) works everywhere. Smaller or square images get cropped or shown as a small card.
Why doesn’t WhatsApp show my link preview?
Usually the image is missing, not on https, or too heavy — WhatsApp reportedly skips images over ~300 KB. Run the check to see which one it is.
Why does X show the wrong image or a small card?
Most often the page has two og:image tags or no twitter:card tag. The report shows the exact tags X sees.
I fixed the image but the old one still shows. Why?
Platforms cache previews. Use each platform’s own debugging tool to refresh it, or change the image URL.
