01Who is responsible
getwowlink is operated by Egor Sharapov, an individual developer based in the United Arab Emirates, who is responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at contact@getwowlink.com.
02What we collect and why
- Email address, to sign you in and contact you about your account
- Name and profile picture, if you sign in with Google
- The domains you add and the public content of their pages (titles, descriptions, images), to design and fill your previews
- A screenshot, logo, colors and fonts of your site, to match your brand
- Your designs, the images you upload or generate, and your requests to the AI assistant
- Your email, the plan you asked about and the billing period, and for the Agency plan your agency’s name and number of client sites, to let you know when the plan opens. You don’t need an account for this
- Your plan and subscription status. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record; we never see your card details
- Which platforms (for example X or Facebook) fetch your images and when, to show you analytics. If you add our visit script to your site, see “Visit analytics on your site” below
- Your IP address when you first use AI on the Free plan or make a preview without an account, to prevent abuse
- How our website is used (pages visited, clicks), through PostHog analytics, to improve getwowlink
03Visit analytics on your site
Site owners can add our visit script to their pages. For each page view it sends us the page’s path, the host name of the site the visitor came from (for example x.com, never the full address), the link’s utm_source if it has one, and whether the link carried a Facebook click id. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in the visitor’s browser and assigns no visitor id: we count visits, not people. On WordPress sites, the snippet or our WordPress plugin also adds a 1-pixel image that counts visitors with JavaScript turned off; it sends the page’s path only.
Like any request to our image service, the request reaches Cloudflare with the visitor’s IP address and browser details; we don’t store them with the visit.
For these visits we act as a processor for the site owner, who decides to add the script and tells their visitors about it. We use the counts only to show the site owner their analytics and to prepare that page’s preview image.
Visit counts by page are kept for 400 days, then deleted. Daily totals per site, which contain no page paths, are kept until the site is deleted.
04How AI is used
To design your previews, the content and screenshot of your pages and your requests are sent to Anthropic (Claude). Images you ask to generate are created with Google (Gemini). They process this data to return results to us, under their API terms.
05Where data goes
We don’t sell or rent your data. We share it only with the providers that run getwowlink for us:
- Supabase — database and sign-in
- Cloudflare — image storage (R2), image delivery and DNS
- DigitalOcean — our application servers
- Vercel — hosting of the website
- Anthropic and Google — AI design and image generation; Google also for “Sign in with Google”
- Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record) — payments, invoices and taxes
- Resend — sending our emails (sign-in links, usage alerts, waitlist confirmations)
- PostHog — website analytics
- Google Fonts — fonts on our website
07How long we keep it
- Account, sites, designs and images — until you delete them or your account
- Published images — served until you delete them or your account, including after your plan ends
- Billing records — as long as tax and accounting rules require
- Waitlist requests — until we’ve told you the plan is open, or sooner if you ask us to remove them; deleting your account removes your waitlist requests too
- Visit analytics — counts by page for 400 days; daily totals per site until you delete the site
- Website analytics — up to one year in PostHog
08Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it by writing to contact@getwowlink.com. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights, including to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.
09Children
getwowlink is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will email you about material changes before they take effect.
